Decoding Industrial Grades (ISO VG)
For industrial machinery, the International Standards Organization Viscosity Grade (ISO VG) is used. An ISO VG 46 oil has a kinematic viscosity of 46 centistokes at 40°C. Choosing the correct ISO VG ensures hydraulic systems, gears, and compressors operate at peak efficiency without overheating.
