COMP-PLUS SYNT 46 is an ISO VG 46 grade, super-premium synthetic compressor fluid engineered specifically for rotary screw air compressors. A standout feature of this lubricant is its complete compatibility with OEM polyglycols, such as Ingersoll Rand SSR Ultracoolant, allowing for direct top-offs without the need for a costly system flush. It exhibits outstanding thermal and oxidative stability, which effectively prevents the formation of harmful varnish, sludge, and carbon deposits on internal components. It provides a very high viscosity index and an excellent low pour point, ensuring easy cold-weather startups and a robust lubricating film under high operating temperatures. This fluid also offers superb water separation and foam control, allowing operators to easily drain off condensate while maintaining excellent cooling efficiency.
