Product Description

Mobil DTE 746 is a premium turbine oil designed for use in non-geared steam turbines, gas turbines, and hydro turbine applications. It provides excellent thermal and oxidation stability, outstanding rust and corrosion protection, and good demulsibility to resist water contamination. The product meets specifications including DIN 51515 part 1 (TD) and part 2 (TG), ISO 8068 (ISO-L-TSA / ISO-L-TGA), and major turbine manufacturer requirements. Typical technical properties include an ISO viscosity grade of 46, a kinematic viscosity of 46 mm2/s at 40°C and 6.9 mm2/s at 100°C, a viscosity index of 105, a density of 0.865 g/ml at 15°C, a pour point of -30°C, and a flash point of 236°C.
