Mobil DTE 846 is a superior performance turbine oil designed for severe-duty gas and steam turbines operating under high temperatures and extreme service conditions. It provides exceptional thermal/oxidative stability, excellent resistance to foaming, and outstanding rust and corrosion protection. The product meets specifications including DIN 51515 part 1 (TD) and part 2 (TG), ISO 8068 (ISO-L-TSA / ISO-L-TGA), and requirements from major turbine manufacturers such as GE, Siemens, and Westinghouse. Typical technical properties include an ISO viscosity grade of 46, a kinematic viscosity of 46 mm2/s at 40°C and 6.9 mm2/s at 100°C, a viscosity index of 105, a density of 0.870 g/ml at 15°C, a pour point of -30°C, and a flash point of 244°C.
