Product Description

Mobil DTE Oil Heavy is a premium performance circulating and hydraulic oil designed for a wide range of industrial applications, including steam and hydro turbines, as well as circulating systems. It is formulated from highly refined base stocks and a carefully selected additive system that provides exceptional chemical and thermal stability, rapid separation from water, and high resistance to emulsion formation. The product provides excellent protection against rust and corrosion, including resistance to salt water, and good anti-wear performance. Typical technical properties include an ISO viscosity grade of 68, a kinematic viscosity of 68 mm2/s at 40°C and 8.9 mm2/s at 100°C, a viscosity index of 98, a density of 0.883 g/ml at 15°C, a pour point of -18°C, and a flash point of 230°C.
