Mobil EAL Arctic 100 is a fully synthetic, high-performance environmental awareness lubricant (EAL) specifically designed for refrigeration and air-conditioning compressors using HFC, HFO, and blended refrigerants. It is formulated from synthesized polyol ester (POE) base stocks combined with a specialized additive system, providing outstanding lubricity, wear protection, chemical stability, and thermal stability. The product is miscible with refrigerants, ensuring excellent system efficiency and return of oil to the compressor. Typical technical properties include an ISO viscosity grade of 100, a kinematic viscosity of 100 mm2/s at 40°C and 11.2 mm2/s at 100°C, a viscosity index of 103, a density of 0.965 g/ml at 15°C, a pour point of -36°C, and a flash point of 250°C.
