Mobil EAL Arctic 22 CC is a fully synthetic, high-performance environmental awareness lubricant (EAL) specifically designed for refrigeration and air-conditioning compressors using HFC, HFO, and blended refrigerants, with enhanced performance for carbon dioxide ($CO_2$) refrigeration systems. It is formulated from synthesized polyol ester (POE) base stocks combined with a specialized additive system, providing outstanding lubricity, wear protection, high chemical and thermal stability, and excellent management of refrigerant dilution. Typical technical properties include an ISO viscosity grade of 22, a kinematic viscosity of 22 mm2/s at 40°C and 4.7 mm2/s at 100°C, a viscosity index of 120, a density of 0.955 g/ml at 15°C, a pour point of -54°C, and a flash point of 220°C.
