Mobil EAL Arctic 220 is a fully synthetic, high-performance environmental awareness lubricant (EAL) specifically designed for refrigeration and air-conditioning compressors using HFC, HFO, and blended refrigerants. It is formulated from synthesized polyol ester (POE) base stocks combined with a specialized additive system, providing outstanding lubricity, wear protection, chemical stability, and thermal stability. The product is miscible with refrigerants, ensuring excellent system efficiency and return of oil to the compressor. Typical technical properties include an ISO viscosity grade of 220, a kinematic viscosity of 220 mm2/s at 40°C and 18.5 mm2/s at 100°C, a viscosity index of 95, a density of 0.975 g/ml at 15°C, a pour point of -30°C, and a flash point of 260°C.
