Mobilgrease XTC is a high-performance extreme pressure grease specifically engineered for heavy-duty industrial applications, particularly gear couplings. Formulated with a high-viscosity mineral base oil and a lithium complex thickener, it provides exceptional load-carrying capacity and film strength to protect heavily loaded gear teeth against shock loads, high misalignment, and severe wear. The grease offers outstanding resistance to centrifugal separation and oil bleed, ensuring that the lubricant remains in place within high-speed couplings even under intense centrifugal forces. It also exhibits excellent resistance to water washout, rust, and corrosion, as well as high thermal and structural stability during extended operating periods. It is primarily recommended for industrial and marine gear couplings, including geartype and grid-type couplings, operating under demanding conditions.
