Mobil SHC Gear 220 is an exceptional, high-performance synthetic industrial gear oil designed to provide outstanding gear and bearing protection, extended oil life, and trouble-free operation even under extreme conditions. It is formulated from high-viscosity index synthetic base stocks combined with a proprietary advanced additive system, offering superior resistance to thermal and oxidative degradation, excellent load-carrying capabilities, and protection against micropitting. Typical technical properties include an ISO viscosity grade of 220, a kinematic viscosity of 220 mm2/s at 40°C and 24.5 mm2/s at 100°C, a viscosity index of 158, a density of 0.870 g/ml at 15°C, a pour point of -51°C, and a flash point of 244°C.
