Mobil SHC Gear 460 is an exceptional, high-performance synthetic industrial gear oil designed to provide outstanding gear and bearing protection, extended oil life, and trouble-free operation even under extreme conditions. It is formulated from high-viscosity index synthetic base stocks combined with a proprietary advanced additive system, offering superior resistance to thermal and oxidative degradation, excellent load-carrying capabilities, and protection against micropitting. Typical technical properties include an ISO viscosity grade of 460, a kinematic viscosity of 460 mm2/s at 40°C and 44.0 mm2/s at 100°C, a viscosity index of 165, a density of 0.880 g/ml at 15°C, a pour point of -45°C, and a flash point of 252°C.
