Mobil SHC PM 220 is an exceptional, high-performance synthetic circulating and gear oil designed specifically for the rigorous operating conditions of industrial paper machine wet and dry ends, including heavily loaded bearings, gearboxes, and roll systems. Formulated from high-viscosity index synthetic base stocks and an advanced additive system, it provides outstanding resistance to thermal and oxidative degradation, superior protection against rust and corrosion in the presence of water, and excellent load-carrying capability under high pressures and temperatures. Typical technical properties include an ISO viscosity grade of 220, a kinematic viscosity of 220 mm2/s at 40°C and 24.5 mm2/s at 100°C, a viscosity index of 158, a density of 0.870 g/ml at 15°C, a pour point of -45°C, and a flash point of 244°C.
