Mobil SHC Polyrex 462 is an exceptional, high-performance synthetic polyurea-grease specifically engineered for heavily loaded slow-to-medium speed bearings operating under high temperatures in demanding industrial applications such as steel mills, paper machines, and heavy manufacturing equipment. Formulated with an advanced synthetic base fluid and a proprietary polyurea thickener, it provides superior resistance to thermal degradation, excellent structural stability under high shear, outstanding load-carrying capacity, and robust protection against rust, corrosion, and water washout in harsh environments. Typical technical properties include an NLGI grade of 2, a base oil viscosity of 460 mm2/s at 40°C, a dropping point above 270°C, and a wide operating temperature range from -20°C to 170°C.
