Mobil Somentor 44 is a premium, high-performance neat cutting oil designed to meet the rigorous machining requirements of various metal removal operations. Formulated from high-quality base oils and an advanced additive system including extreme pressure (EP) agents and anti-wear components, it provides excellent surface finish, extended tool life, and superior cooling and lubrication under high-speed and heavy-duty cutting conditions. Typical technical properties include an ISO viscosity grade of 22, a kinematic viscosity of 22 mm2/s at 40°C, a density of 0.875 g/ml at 15°C, a pour point of -18°C, and a flash point of 170°C.
