Mobilgard 1 SHC is a supreme-performance synthetic diesel engine oil specifically engineered for high-power, distillate-fueled medium- and high-speed marine diesel engines operating in severe service conditions. Utilizing advanced synthetic base stocks, it combines outstanding high-temperature thermal and oxidation stability with exceptional low-temperature pumpability and wear protection. Typical technical properties include a true SAE viscosity grade of 40, a kinematic viscosity of approximately 109.0 mm2/s at 40°C and 14.5 mm2/s at 100°C, a viscosity index of 136, a density of approximately 0.872 g/ml at 15°C, a total base number (TBN) of 15 mg KOH/g, an extremely low pour point of -54°C, and a flash point of 250°C.
