Product Description

Mobilgard 5100 is an ultra-high-performance cylinder oil specifically developed for modern, highly-rated two-stroke marine diesel engines operating on very low sulphur fuels or when utilizing scrubbers, as well as under slow steaming conditions. It is engineered to provide exceptional protection against corrosive wear, superior piston cleanliness, and excellent thermal and oxidation stability in severe marine operating environments. This product is supplied in a 208-liter drum (Fass). Key technical properties include an SAE viscosity grade of 50, a kinematic viscosity of approximately 210 mm2/s at 40°C and 20.0 mm2/s at 100°C, a viscosity index of 95, a density of approximately 0.940 g/ml at 15°C, an ultra-high total base number (TBN) of 100 mg KOH/g, a pour point of -15°C, and a flash point of 240°C.
