FUCHS RENISO PAG 46 is a fully synthetic refrigeration compressor lubricant formulated from high-performance polyalkylene glycols (PAG). With an ISO VG 46 viscosity grade, it is specifically engineered for automotive air conditioning (A/C) systems using R134a refrigerants, as well as select stationary refrigeration systems operating with hydrocarbon or ammonia (NH3) refrigerants. The fluid offers outstanding miscibility and thermo-chemical stability with R134a, ensuring continuous lubrication and efficient oil return throughout the entire cooling circuit. Its exceptionally high viscosity index ensures strong low-temperature fluidity during startup along with a durable, wear-resistant oil film at elevated operational temperatures. Additionally, FUCHS RENISO PAG 46 provides robust anti-wear protection and excellent material compatibility with all common refrigeration seals and elastomers.
