FUCHS RENOLIN AC 46 is a high-performance mineral oil-based air compressor lubricant formulated from selected low-volatility base oil fractions and an advanced protective additive package. With an ISO VG 46 viscosity grade, it is engineered primarily for the lubrication of oil-injected rotary screw air compressors. The fluid offers high thermal and oxidation stability, low carbon-forming tendencies, and excellent air-release and anti-foam properties. Its low volatility minimizes oil carry-over into the compressed air stream, reducing overall fluid consumption and extending the operational life of downstream air-oil separator elements. RENOLIN AC 46 provides robust anti-wear performance and effective corrosion protection for internal compressor rotors, bearings, and housings, reliably supporting standard drain intervals up to 2,000 hours under typical operating conditions. It fulfills and exceeds the requirements of DIN 51506 VDL.
