FUCHS RENOLIN AC 100 is a high-performance, mineral oil-based air compressor and vacuum pump lubricant formulated from selected low-volatility mineral base stock fractions combined with advanced oxidation, anti-wear, and anti-foam inhibitors. Featuring an ISO VG 100 viscosity grade, it is primarily intended for the lubrication of heavy-duty reciprocating (piston) compressors, as well as select sliding vane compressors, vacuum pumps, and drip-feed gear drive mechanisms where an ISO VG 100 viscosity is recommended by equipment manufacturers. The fluid's narrow boiling range and extremely low volatility minimize oil carry-over into the compressed air stream, extending the life of downstream air-oil separators and air line filters. RENOLIN AC 100 exhibits high thermal and oxidation resistance, which limits valve deposit formation and prevents sludging under severe operating conditions. Additionally, it provides reliable corrosion protection for internal metallic components and meets or exceeds the requirements of DIN 51506 VDL.
