FUCHS RENOLIN B 46 HVI is a premium, high viscosity index (HVLP type according to DIN 51524-3) shear-stable hydraulic and general lubricating fluid. Formulated from highly aging-resistant mineral base stocks combined with shear-stable Viscosity Index (VI) improvers and a zinc-containing anti-wear (AW) / extreme-pressure (EP) additive package, it features an ISO VG 46 viscosity grade with an elevated viscosity index ($\text{VI} \ge 150$).It is specifically engineered for heavy-duty hydraulic systems operating under extreme ambient temperature fluctuations or harsh outdoor conditions—such as mobile construction equipment, agricultural machinery, forestry equipment, marine hydraulics, and industrial plant systems requiring multigrade characteristics. Its high shear stability ensures the fluid film stays strong under severe heat and mechanical load while maintaining smooth flow and reduced drag during cold startups. RENOLIN B 46 HVI delivers high oxidation resistance, rapid water separation (demulsibility), low foaming, fast air release, and robust wear and corrosion protection for internal pumps, valves, and bearings. It meets and exceeds key international specifications, including DIN 51524-3 (HVLP), ISO 6743-4 (HV), and Denison HF-0 / HF-1 / HF-2.
