FUCHS RENOLIN CLP 460 is a heavy-duty, high-viscosity industrial gear and circulating oil formulated with high-performance extreme pressure (EP) and anti-wear (AW) properties. Manufactured from highly refined, oxidation-resistant mineral base stocks and advanced sulfur-phosphorus additive technology, it features an ISO VG 460 viscosity grade.The fluid is engineered specifically for severe-duty, high-torque, slow-to-medium speed enclosed industrial gear drives—such as heavy spur, helical, bevel, and planetary gearboxes, as well as heavily loaded plain and roller bearings. It performs continuously at oil sump temperatures up to $100^\circ\text{C}$ (with short-term peak thermal stability up to $120^\circ\text{C}$). RENOLIN CLP 460 delivers exceptional resistance to micropitting, scuffing, and adhesive wear (achieving high FZG load stage performance) while safeguarding components against fretting corrosion and surface fatigue under intense shock loads. It exhibits excellent water demulsibility, low air release and foaming tendencies, and full compatibility with standard static and dynamic dynamic seal materials. It meets and exceeds major international industrial standards, including DIN 51517-3 (CLP), ISO 6743-6 / ISO 12925-1 (CKC/CKD), AGMA 9005/E02, and approvals from major equipment builders such as Flender.
