Shell Gadus S3 T220 2 is a premium, high-technology extreme pressure (EP) industrial grease formulated specifically for heavily loaded bearings operating in high-temperature environments. It features a high-viscosity index mineral base oil (ISO VG 220) thickened with Shell's advanced "in-house" diurea (polyurea) soap technology developed in Japan. Unlike traditional lithium-complex or older polyurea greases, the unique diurea thickener in Shell Gadus S3 T220 2 offers exceptional resistance to thermal degradation, shear thinning, and oxidative aging. At high operating temperatures, this grease strongly resists melting, structural softening, and subsequent oil leakage from bearing housings. Its heavy 220 cSt base oil viscosity paired with premium EP additives creates a resilient, high-strength lubricating film that shields components under severe boundary lubrication conditions and shock loads. The 18 kg plastic pail (bucket) is an ideal packaging size for mid-to-large-scale maintenance teams, mobile service crews, and automated single-point lubricators (such as the Shell Tactic EMV system).
