Shell Gadus S3 V220C 2 Shuttle features the identical high-performance, premium multi-purpose extreme pressure (EP) grease formula found in standard V220C packs, but it is delivered in the specialized Lube-Shuttle® 400 g cartridge design. The grease itself blends a high viscosity index ISO VG 220 mineral base oil with a robust lithium-complex thickener to maintain stable film thickness and exceptional mechanical shear resistance under high-temperature, shock-loaded, or vibrating industrial environments. The key advantage of the "Shuttle" designation is its ergonomic and clean packaging design. Unlike standard pull-tab cartridges that require manual bottom-plunger release and often result in grease leakage, the Lube-Shuttle® cartridge features a secure screw-cap mechanism at the base. It screws directly into compatible Lube-Shuttle® grease guns. This screw-in method uses a vacuum-style delivery mechanism to ensure maximum evacuation of the grease from the tube, leaving virtually zero residue waste. It eliminates the need for tool disassembly during changes, prevents air locks (air pockets that halt grease flow), and completely eliminates messy cleanups. This system keeps the grease fully isolated from environmental grit, dust, and contaminants, making it an excellent option for high-precision industrial maintenance, cleanroom manufacturing settings, or rapid field service tasks on heavily loaded conveyor bearings, automotive chassis, and fan drives.
