Shell Gadus S5 V110KP 1 is an ultra-high-performance, fully synthetic grease specifically engineered for the demanding lubrication requirements of wind turbine blade and pitch bearings. Its advanced formulation is designed for multi-megawatt turbines with large blade diameters and high tower heights, particularly those operating in extreme climates—from Arctic cold to corrosive coastal/offshore environments. The key engineering advantage of this product is its lithium/calcium complex thickener combined with synthetic base oils. This hybrid thickener provides exceptional resistance to water wash-out and salt-water corrosion, while the synthetic base oil ensures excellent pumpability in narrow centralized lubrication lines down to -50°C.
