Shell Helix Hybrid 0W-20 is a fully synthetic motor oil engineered specifically to meet the demanding technical requirements of modern gasoline-electric hybrid powertrains. Formulated with Shell’s Active Cleansing Technology, it continuously prevents deposit and sludge build-up to maintain peak engine cleanliness. It provides dedicated protection for hybrid engines operating under frequent cold start-stop cycles and lower average oil temperatures, actively defending against water condensation, acid formation, and fuel dilution rust. The lubricant exhibits ultra-low viscosity and low friction properties, maximizing fuel economy and reducing exhaust emissions while mitigating Low-Speed Pre-Ignition (LSPI) events in direct-injection turbocharged hybrid engines. Its exceptional low-temperature flow ensures rapid oil pressure build-up during cold starts, significantly minimizing initial engine wear.
