Shell Omala S4 WE 220 is an advanced synthetic heavy-duty industrial worm gear oil. Formulated with polyalkylene glycol base stocks, it provides excellent friction reduction and high energy efficiency. Its ISO VG 220 viscosity grade delivers strong wear protection and extreme micro-pitting resistance under heavy shock loads. The synthetic formula offers outstanding thermal and oxidation stability, allowing for significantly extended oil drain intervals. It effectively lowers operating temperatures, which helps prolong the lifespan of both gears and seals. Additionally, it provides reliable corrosion protection for metal components in challenging industrial environments. As a polyalkylene glycol fluid, it is not compatible with mineral oils or conventional synthetic oils.
