Shell Rimula R6 ME 5W-30 is a fully synthetic heavy-duty diesel engine oil designed to maximize fuel economy and enable extended drain intervals. Formulated with high-SAPS and high-TBN chemistry, it delivers exceptional wear protection, outstanding soot control, and superior piston cleanliness for Euro 2, Euro 3, and select Euro 4 European heavy-duty engines operating without a Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF). Its low-viscosity 5W-30 synthetic base provides excellent low-temperature fluidity for fast cold starts and reduced initial engine wear. Key specifications and approvals include MB-Approval 228.5, MAN M3277, MTU Category 3, and Iveco Standard TFE.
