Shell Rimula R7 AD 5W-30 is a premium fully synthetic, low High Temperature High Shear (HTHS) heavy-duty diesel engine oil designed for enhanced fuel economy and low emissions protection. Formulated with Low-SAPS additive technology, it helps protect modern exhaust after-treatment devices like Diesel Particulate Filters (DPFs) and Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) systems from fouling and poisoning. The lubricant is specifically tailored for modern Euro 6 engines requiring API FA-4 lubricants, such as Mercedes-Benz OM 470, 471, and 473 series engines, though it is not backward compatible with older machinery.
