Shell Risella X 420 is a premium, high-purity process oil based on synthetic Gas-to-Liquid (GTL) technology. It offers an exceptionally high degree of purity, being virtually free of sulfur, nitrogen, and aromatic compounds. The fluid exhibits outstanding color stability, thermal resistance, and low volatility, making it suitable for demanding process oil and industrial applications. It is commonly utilized in polymer processing, chemical synthesis, adhesives, rubber formulations, and agricultural products. Typical physical characteristics include a kinematic viscosity of 24.5 mm²/s at 40°C, 4.8 mm²/s at 100°C, a density of 818 kg/m³ at 15°C, a flash point of 215°C, and a pour point of -30°C. It complies with technical white oil purity standards, including FDA 178.3620(b) requirements.
