Shell Tellus S2 M 100 is a high-performance industrial hydraulic fluid designed to provide reliable wear protection, thermal stability, and consistent system efficiency in heavy-duty machinery. Formulated with high-quality mineral base oils and zinc-based anti-wear additives, it resists breakdown under heat and mechanical stress, preventing varnish and sludge buildup. The fluid offers excellent water separation, fast air release, and anti-foam performance to minimize cavitation and maintain efficient power transfer. It is well-suited for industrial hydraulic systems, mobile machinery operating under moderate ambient conditions, and marine hydraulic applications requiring an ISO HM fluid. Typical physical parameters include a kinematic viscosity of 100 mm²/s at 40°C, 11.1 mm²/s at 100°C, a viscosity index of 96, a density of 891 kg/m³ at 15°C, a flash point of 250°C, and a pour point of -24°C.
