Shell Tellus S2 V 32 is a high-performance, shear-stable hydraulic fluid formulated with a high viscosity index base oil system to deliver reliable performance, wear protection, and consistent fluid response across wide temperature fluctuations. Engineered for mobile equipment, outdoor machinery, and industrial systems exposed to significant seasonal or operational temperature swings, it maintains proper viscosity and film strength from cold start-ups to hot, continuous running conditions. The fluid incorporates proven zinc-based anti-wear additives, oxidation inhibitors, and rapid air-release properties to protect pumps against cavitation and minimize component wear. Typical physical parameters include an ISO VG 32 viscosity grade, a kinematic viscosity of 32.0 mm²/s at 40°C and 6.3 mm²/s at 100°C, a high viscosity index of 145, a density of 872 kg/m³ at 15°C, a flash point of 220°C, and a pour point of -33°C. Supplied in a standard 209-liter industrial drum, it meets key industry standards and OEM specifications including ISO 11158 (HV fluids), DIN 51524 Part 3 (HVLP), and ASTM D6158-05 (HV fluids).
