Shell TF 0870 B is a high-performance, fully synthetic transfer case fluid specifically developed for modern electronically controlled all-wheel-drive (AWD) systems. Primary Application: Exclusively approved for Magna Powertrain transfer cases and widely used as an OEM fill-for-life fluid in active AWD/4WD systems. Vehicle Compatibility: Commonly used in European active transfer cases, including BMW xDrive (as BMW TF-0870 / DTF 1), Porsche (Cayenne, Macan), Volkswagen/Audi (Touareg, Q7), and select Mercedes-Benz Torque-on-Demand (TOD) systems. Performance & Protection: Formulated with synthetic base oils (PAO) and special additives to provide exceptionally high shear stability, balanced friction control, superior anti-wear protection, and excellent thermal oxidation resistance. Cold & Extreme Operation: Features outstanding low-temperature fluidity (down to -54°C pour point) to ensure smooth torque transfer and rapid response during severe winter conditions and high-stress driving.
