Shell Turbo Oil T 68 is a high-performance industrial turbine oil designed for heavy-duty applications requiring higher viscosity protection. Formulated with high-quality hydrotreated base oils and a ashless (zinc-free) additive package, it delivers excellent thermal and oxidation stability to prevent varnish and sludge buildup. With an ISO VG 68 viscosity grade, it is well-suited for non-geared steam turbines, hydroelectric turbines, turbo-compressors, and systems where high ambient temperatures or heavy loads are present. The fluid exhibits outstanding water separation properties (demulsibility), allowing excess water to drain quickly and protecting metal surfaces against rust and corrosion.
